The holidays are right around the corner! Are you as excited as we are to see all the creative table scapes and decor to come?

We decided to join in and upgrade one of our fresh Salal and Huck garlands with our preserved salal, pinecones and dried wheat.

What You’ll Need:

• A pre-made fresh greenery garland - there are many options for fresh online, with your local florist, or wholesaler.
• Small fall decor: fall leaves, pinecones, wheat, pumpkins
• Floral wire
• Twinkle lights if you desire

Step 1:

Unfold your greenery garland and trim off any discolored or damaged pieces. Spread the garland the length of your table, so the entire garland is in view. 

Step 2:

Start with one of your fall decor items - we chose to begin with preserved salal leaves. If you plan to hang your garland, or move it far from your worktable, use floral wire to secure items.

Our tip - lay out your accents ahead of time to see where they will look best.

Step 3:

Fill in with your secondary items - we chose pinecones and wheat stems. We were able to use the wire that was on the garland base to secure our stems, added a bit of wire to our larger cones to keep them secure, and placed smaller cones around the garland as additional table decor.

Step 4:

Carefully move your garland to its final place to setup, or if you created it in place, you can now add votives, twinkle lights, place settings and any additional decor you have planned for your table.
